About us

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Buildings are our environment and are imposed on the public eye. Censorship exists for the cinema, sometimes for literature, but it does not exist to prevent urban planning and architectural scandals. And yet, while everyone is free to turn off the radio, to avoid concert halls, cinemas or theatres, or not to read a book, no one can turn a blind eye to the buildings that form the backdrop to our lives.
Architecture: a mineral world that is our own nature, as opposed to the nature offered by the landscape of the universe. A world invented from scratch in the image of man, by man without borrowing anything from reality, and this across all generations...
If architecture were simply the science of building properly, it would be confused with what everyone calls construction. What elevates the architect worthy of the name beyond that of the most skillful builder is his constant desire to ennoble the decor of our lives. They must convince themselves that to succeed in an art, or in this art, is above all to love it passionately, that it is to devote all one's will and all one's desire in a constant effort towards achieving beauty.
OUR HISTORY
The architecture studio was founded in 1960 by architect Paul-Louis Tardin. In 1989, he joined forces with his daughter Anne, who decided to follow him in his professional adventure. The year 1997 marked the birth of archespaces Sàrl, the fruit of their work and their shared passion for architecture.

ARCHITECTURE, THE OLDEST, BEST-KNOWN AND YET MOST MISUNDERSTOOD OF THE ARTS

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This family-run architectural studio, made up of a dynamic team of professionals, favors simple, logical and clear architecture while respecting costs and deadlines. As a result, it offers a positive response to the demands of clients, with the quality of services provided being a successful blend of experience and innovation. Through its structure, blending the experience of older members with the curiosity and dynamism of newer generations, the team produces a constructive collaboration rather than the imposition of a particular style or trademark.
