Construction of a 3-unit condominium building

The construction of this high-end three-unit residential building is part of the densification of a peri-urban neighborhood located in the heights of Lausanne, in a green enclave. Composed of three distinct, overlaying volumes, the building offers large spaces that interact with the landscape thanks to the use of interesting architectural cantilevers.

The architect's challenge, at the request of the client, was to design these residences while complying with the criteria imposed on attics by the City of Lausanne's current regulations, which dictated the calculation and surface area of each dwelling at each level.

The attic floor therefore optimizes the potential of the living space to the full and gives the building a suitable proportion in line with the scale of the neighborhood, benefiting from a generously proportioned terrace and offering, like the middle floor, a magnificent view of the lake, the Alps and the surrounding area, while the first floor benefits from noteworthy open spaces in a green landscape.
