Chemin de la Plaisance 8a - 8b

2013 | Ecublens | Twin Houses

Construction of a two-unit house

The geometry of these two houses is based on a subtle interlocking play. They are in fact twin houses, juxtaposed and separated by stairwells.

Due to their position and original shape, these homes offer unobstructed views and present a more individualistic connotation than a twin.

The entrances are on the east-facing facades, while the living areas open onto the west, taking full advantage of the wide-open, bucolic surroundings.

The eaves, which match the shape of the buildings, also have a protective function.
