Church of Notre-Dame de Cully

1965 | Cully | Special projects

Construction of the Catholic Church of Cully

Listed in the cantonal architectural census under grade 2, as a Monument of Regional Importance with the mention "remarkable", this building represents an important heritage for the Commune and the region. Built on a plot of land known as "Les Communaux" on the Route de la Corniche, this magnificent site evokes the privilege of hosting a place of worship.

Completed in 1965, the church was consecrated in October 1965 by the bishop of the diocese, after numerous negotiations prompted by the resolutely modern architecture of the project, and the intense debates that took place during its construction.
