Construction of a single-family house with a pool

This single-family home has the distinctive feature of having been designed by its owner and built by our office. Not only does it benefit from a privileged, residential setting, facing the lake and the Alps, but it is also exceptionally well situated in the heart of the vineyards, on a hillside in the immediate vicinity of the charming village of Buchillon.

It therefore seamlessly blends in perfectly with the morphology of the land.

Thanks to large bay windows, the south-facing facade of the first floor, in daylight areas, opens onto an idyllic panorama of vineyards, lake and mountains, much like a painting, allowing light to penetrate the entire depth of the dwelling. This notion of openness is also accentuated by the interior organization of the spaces, with the entire volume dedicated to the living area open.

Interior circulation has been carefully designed, with the straight staircase especially becoming an object in its own right, acting as a sculpture that dresses the space in complete transparency.
